DETROIT – Calvin Johnson had two touchdown catches and Joique Bell had a pair of TD runs as the Detroit Lions defeated the Chicago Bears 34-17 in the opening game of a Thanksgiving tripleheader.
Johnson had 11 catches for 146 yards and passed the 10,000-yard mark for his career, becoming the fastest player in NFL history to reach that milestone.
Detroit improved to 8-4 on the season, while Chicago dropped to 5-7.
