This week’s Pro Football Player of the Week is Jaicquawn Jarrett.
The New York Jets safety was all over the field as his team snapped an eight-game losing streak by shutting down Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Roethlisberger came in on the heels of back-to-back Player of the Week performances, with six touchdowns in each game, but New York forced four turnovers and held Pittsburgh to just 13 points.
That was thanks in large part to the play of Jarrett, who had ten tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery and two interceptions in his team’s 20-13 victory.
Jaiquawn Jarrett was definitely “In the Zone” and he was named our Pro Football Player of the Week, brought to you by AutoZone, on Westwood One’s broadcast of Monday Night Football.
