KANSAS CITY, MO – Peyton Manning threw a pair of touchdown passes and C.J. Anderson carried the load on the ground as the Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 29-16 on Sunday night.
Anderson picked up a career-high 168 yards on 32 carries and added two catches for 17 yards, including one for a touchdown.
In his debut as Denver’s kicker, Connor Barth booted five field goals, matching the single-game franchise record set by Jason Elam.
