CLEVELAND, OH – In their toughest test of the tournament so far, Kentucky found a way to prevail yet again with a 68-66 victory against Notre Dame, sending the Wildcats into the Final Four where they’ll face Wisconsin next Saturday in Indianapolis. This will be Kentucky’s fourth trip to the Final Four in the last five years.
With six seconds left, Notre Dame raced the ball up the court but Jerian Grant’s corner three missed at the buzzer to send the Irish packing.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 points to lead the Wildcats, while Zach Auguste scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead Notre Dame.
