This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” College Basketball Player of the Week is Tyler Kalinoski.
Westwood One NCAA Basketball host Jason Horowitz filed this report:
“It’s one thing to jump leagues, it’s another to take a MAJOR jump and then WIN that league. That’s what Davidson did after joining the A-10 this season, and Tyler Kalinoski is a big reason why they got it done. The Wildcats senior scored 54 points in Davidson’s last two games, hitting 19 of 30 from the floor. Kalinoski also hit 8 of 10 from three-point range in their season finale at Duquesne to clinch the conference title for a team that was picked to finish 13th when the season began. Davidson has the top seed for this weekend’s A-10 Tournament in Brooklyn, and Kalinoski was an easy pick for our final regular season player of the week.
Tyler Kalinoski was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Basketball Player of the Week.
