This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” College Basketball Player of the Week is Joseph Young.
Westwood One NCAA Basketball host Jason Horowitz filed this report:
“No team out West has made as hard a push to secure a bid into the NCAA Tournament as Oregon, and the Ducks had a good week in the Bay Area. Dana Altman plays a lot of young guys, but his senior, Joseph Young, is the undoubted leader. Young scored 25 as the Ducks won at Cal, then added 21 in a huge victory at Stanford on Sunday. He continues to pace the Pac-12 at 20 points per game. The Ducks have won eight of nine, they are guaranteed a finish no worse than third in the conference, and Joseph Young playing as a first-team all Pac-12 guard is one of the major reasons why they are getting closer and closer to leaving the bubble behind.”
Joseph Young was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Basketball Player of the Week.
