COLUMBUS, OH – West Virginia punched their ticket to the Midwest Regional Semifinals with a 69-59 victory against Maryland Sunday night. Devin Williams had 16 points and ten rebounds for the Mountaineers, who will face Kentucky next Thursday in Cleveland.
Star freshman Melo Trimble had 15 points for the Terrapins, but was injured during the game and sat out the final minutes.
