SYRACUSE, NY – Senior guard Travis Trice is smart enough to agree with Tom Izzo that this isn’t the most talented Spartans team there’s ever been. But he’s also experienced enough to know that teamwork and hard work can trump talent, and he’s seeing it first hand this year with Michigan State’s run to the Elite Eight for the second year in a row.
Trice averages over 20 points a game to lead his Spartans, and he’ll try to keep up that production on Sunday against a stingy Louisville defense.
Ian Eagle and P.J. Carlesimo caught up with Travis ahead of the game.
