This Week in the NCAA: Florida wins women’s gymnastics crown

The Florida Gators are the champions of women’s gymnastics for the third straight year – but it was anything but a blowout.

The Gators bested Utah for the team title by just .05, with Florida finishing at 197.85 to the Utes’ 197.80 thanks in large part to 18-year old freshman Alex McMurtry, who scored a 9.95 on the uneven bars to push Florida to the national title.
