For the first time in a decade, Westwood One Sports is pleased to announce the return of live hole-by-hole coverage of the PGA Championship to the broadcast calendar. The PGA Championship will be available to radio stations across the United States, as well as via a live audio stream right here on WestwoodOneSports.com!
This year’s PGA Championship will be played at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler, Wisconsin, from August 13th to the 16th. Hole-by-hole coverage will begin each day at 2 PM Eastern.
Veteran broadcaster Earl Forcey will anchor the coverage from the 18th Tower. Forcey is best known as host of PGA Tour Radio on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. The lead analyst is former pro golfer and current Golf Channel host Charlie Rymer. Rymer has also been lead analyst on Westwood One’s coverage of The Masters for the past seven years.
Calling the action from the course will be 1992 PGA Rookie of the Year Mark Carnevale, former PGA Tour player Dennis Paulson and 1979 British Ladies Open Champion Maureen Madill.
Rounding out our broadcast team will be Westwood One sportscaster Ted Emrich, who will anchor our shortform reports and provide leaderboard updates during the longform coverage.
