The NCAA has released attendance figures for the 2014-15 basketball season, with attendance falling just short of a new all-time record. More than 32.5 million tickets were sold this season, just shy of the 33 million mark that set the bar in 2007-08.
Syracuse and Kentucky had the biggest individual home attendance numbers, while Louisville, North Carolina and Wisconsin also made the top five.
In other attendance news, the Women’s College World Series in June set new records for attendance and viewership.
