KOHLER, WI – Heavy rain and lightning suspended play on Friday at the PGA Championship with the leaders still on the course.
The horn came at about 5:30 PM local time as Jason Day was hitting an approach shot close at the 15th hole. Day and Australia’s Matt Jones are the leaders on the course at nine-under par for the championship. Jones was playing his 13th hole of the second round when play was halted.
Justin Rose was on the 18th hole and is one shot back at -8. David Lingmeth is the leader in the clubhouse. He shot a 70 in the morning wave and is -7 overall. Jordan Spieth is one shot farther back at -6 after a second-round 67.
