ANN ARBOR, MI – In one of the craziest finishes you’re likely to see, Jalen Watts-Jackson picked up a botched punt and returned it for a touchdown as time expired as Michigan State stunned the Michigan Stadium crowd with a 27-23 victory.
Michigan had a fourth and two near midfield with 10 seconds remaining and sent the punt team on the field. Punter Blake O’Neill fumbled the snap and couldn’t corral the ball before it ended up in the hands of Watts-Jackson, who raced 38 yards for the winning score.
Dave Barnett and Jim Miller called the action on Westwood One Sports.
