CINCINNATI – T.J. Yates entered the game for the injured Brian Hoyer and promptly hit DeAndre Hopkins for the lone touchdown of the game as the Houston Texans ended the Cincinnati Bengals’ perfect start to the season with a 10-6 win on Monday night.
After Hoyer left with a concussion, Yates only completed five passes but his 22-yard toss to Hopkins was the biggest of the game for either side.
Cincinnati fell to 8-1 on the season, while Houston moved into a tie with Indianapolis for first place in the AFC South at 4-5.
Kevin Harlan and Boomer Esiason called the action on Westwood One.
