Today we tell you about two former student-athletes that have been chosen to receive the 2016 NCAA Inspiration Award.
The first is Mount St. Joseph women’s basketball player Lauren Hill, who lost her battle with an inoperable brain tumor last April. The other is O.J. Brigance, a linebacker at Rice in the 1980s who suffers from ALS and through his work with the Baltimore Ravens leads a foundation that raises money for families affected by the degenerative muscular disease.
