CINCINNATI, OH – In a Wild Card game that lived up to the name, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 18-16 on Chris Boswell’s late field goal.
Pittsburgh led 15-0 Martavis Bryant’s circus catch late in the third quarter, but on the next series Ben Roethlisberger was sacked and left the game with an injured shoulder. The Bengals rallied to take a 16-15 lead, but couldn’t hold on thanks to a fumble, Roethlisberger’s return and a pair of late penalties.
Kevin Harlan and Dan Fouts called the action on Westwood One.
