MINNEAPOLIS – In the third-coldest postseason game in NFL history, Blair Walsh’s miss of a 27-yard field goal in the final minute allowed the Seattle Seahawks to hold on for a 10-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at frigid TCF Bank Stadium.
Minnesota had led for most of a game that was played in sub-zero temperatures, but Seattle rallied to go up 10-9 late in the fourth quarter. The Vikings had a chance to win it, but Walsh’s short effort was hooked wide left.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
