BETHLEHEM, PA – From road kill to road warriors, the next stop for the Crusaders of Holy Cross is the NCAA Tournament after a 59-56 win at Lehigh on Wednesday night in the Patriot League championship game.
Holy Cross lost every regular season conference game away from home, finishing 0-9. Then the Patriot League tournament started and the Crusaders never looked back, traveling to and beating Loyola-Maryland, top-seeded Bucknell, Army and finally Lehigh to punch a ticket to the Big Dance for the first time since 2007.
Scott Graham and Kevin Grevey called the action on Westwood One Sports.
