OMAHA, NE – The College World Series is going the distance in a way that’s never happened before as Coastal Carolina defeated Arizona 5-4 Tuesday night to force a decisive third game in the Finals.
It’s the first time 17 games have ever been played in a single year in Omaha.
Mike Morrison, who is normally the Chanticleers’ closer, started and threw six and two-thirds solid innings, giving up two runs and striking out 10.
Kevin Kugler and Scott Graham called the action from TD Ameritrade Park.
