MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The Minnesota Vikings opened their new stadium in winning fashion on Sunday night, downing the Green Bay Packers 17-14.
Sam Bradford had a pair of touchdown passes in his debut as the team’s starting quarterback, but it wasn’t all good news for Vikings fans. Adrian Peterson left the game with a knee injury in the third quarter and didn’t return.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
