Final Four Preview: UCONN goes for 5-Peat, perfection in “Big D” against SEC and Pac-12 challengers

03/31/2017

DALLAS, TX – UCONN has not lost a game since November 17th,… 2014.  Coming into Dallas as the perennial favorite–seeking an unprecedented fifth-straight and twelfth-overall national championship–Geno Auriemma’s Huskies will have a huge target on their back.  Getting through the Women’s Final Four gauntlet won’t be an easy task, as three game contenders seek to dethrone the defending champions.

Tipping off the semifinal action on Friday at 7:30PM Eastern, top-seeded South Carolina will square off with second-seeded Stanford.

Then in the night-cap, second-seeded Mississippi State will throw everything it can at top-seeded Connecticut.

John Sadak, Debbie Antonelli, and Krista Blunk will have the calls from the American Airlines Center.

Remember, every game of the tournament streams live right here on WestwoodOneSports.com.
