Interview: Florida’s Mike White on Virginia’s defense and keeping his team relaxed


ORLANDO, FL – Younger coaches often have to get their team to buy into them, to believe they can coach them up well. In the absence of experience, sometimes bonding is the best way to go about that, and Mike White knows how to make his Florida Gators smile and laugh. It worked on Thursday, as Florida knocked off East Tennessee State to advance.

White also spoke about Chris Chiozza’s role in coming off the bench.

Tom McCarthy caught up with Coach White ahead of the Gators’ second round game against Virginia.
