Interview: Gonzaga’s Mark Few looks to end Northwestern’s dream


SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Don’t tell Mark Few how easy it is as a #1 seed. The Zags coach isn’t super comfortable with that opening game dynamic, and he felt his team showed it with a few jitters in their opening round win against South Dakota State.

They’ll take on the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, who are probably just happy to still be playing in their first-ever NCAA tournament. They have nothing to lose and Few’s Bulldogs will need to be ready for it.

Kevin Kugler caught up with Coach Few ahead of Saturday’s game.
