Interview: Michigan’s John Beilein on keeping emotions high as Michigan streaks into the tournament


INDIANAPOLIS, IN – After surviving a plane crash, it’s got to be pretty easy to remind your team there’s no such thing as pressure. And after they won the Big Ten Tournament, it’s got to be pretty easy to keep your kids confident. But John Beilein knows emotion can only take you so far so he’s got to keep his team focused on the basics.

Beilein is ready for a track meet against Oklahoma State but he’s going to do everything he can to make try and slow the Cowboys down.

Chris Carrino and Jim Jackson caught up with Michigan head coach John Beilein ahead of the Gamecocks’ matchup against Marquette.
