Interview: Middle Tennessee State’s Kermit Davis on making in-game adjustments, experience

MILWAUKEE, WI – For the second year in a row, Middle Tennessee State came into the NCAA Tournament a double-digit seed, only to confidently upset a Big Ten squad in the First Round.  The difference this time around, though, is that the Blue Raiders aren’t ready to pack their bags anytime soon.

MTSU head coach Kermit Davis has taken a lot from last year’s experience, and he looks to apply what he learned to how he prepares his team for the quick turnaround for their Second Round matchup with fourth-seeded Butler.

Brandon Gaudin and Kelly Tripucka caught up with Kermit Davis ahead of the big game.
