GREENVILLE, SC – North Carolina head coach Roy Williams knows that managing his a team during a blowout can be just almost as difficult as managing a tight game. Williams hopes that he kept his players focused throughout their 103-64 First Round win over Texas Southern, so that they will be ready for the frenetic challenge that eighth-seeded Arkansas will present on Sunday. Luckily for him, the Razorbacks also play the Heels’ up-and-down style, so both teams should be primed for their desired track meet.
While leader Joel Berry II’s status is still in question for Sunday, Williams is confident that his team’s depth will be up to the challenge of filling Berry’s invaluable shoes.
John Sadak caught up with Roy Williams ahead of the game.
