SALT LAKE CITY, UT – The Northwestern Wildcats kept their first-ever trip to the Big Dance alive, hanging on for a 68-66 win against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Bryant McIntosh led all scorers with 25 points for the Wildcats, while Matthew Fisher-Davis scored 22 in the loss but made a glaring error to grab McIntosh with only seconds left and a one-point Vanderbilt lead, sending him to the line for two shots that put the Wildcats ahead for the last time.
Kevin Kugler and Dan Dickau called the action on Westwood One Sports.
