INDIANAPOLOIS, IN – The #2-seeded Kentucky Wildcats outlasted a strong #10-seeded Wichita State team on their way to a 65-62 victory that will send them into the Sweet 16. Landry Shamet scored 20 in the loss for the Shockers, but it was two shot blocks by the Kentucky defense in the final seconds that saved the victory for the Wildcats. Kentucky will face the winner of UCLA-Cincinnati in the next round.
Chris Carrino and Jim Jackson called the action on Westwood One Sports.
