For the 31st consecutive year, and 45th time overall, Westwood One will be the exclusive network radio home of the Super Bowl. This year’s contest will feature the New England Patriots versus the Philadelphia Eagles and will be played at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 4th. It is just the second time the Super Bowl will be played in Minneapolis, as the city also hosted Super Bowl XXVI.
Kevin Harlan will handle the play-by-play duties for the Super Bowl for the eighth straight year, with Boomer Esiason once again serving as the color analyst—his 18th consecutive with the network. Super Bowl XXXI winning coach Mike Holmgren will also contribute throughout the game broadcast. Former All-Pro offensive lineman Tony Boselli returns for second straight year as sideline reporter, and this year will be joined on the field by Hall of Fame reporter Ed Werder. Jim Gray will anchor the pregame and halftime coverage, with appearances by Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Scott Graham, and Super Bowl XXXIV MVP and Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner will also contribute to the pregame show coverage.
