COLUMBUS, OH – Mississippi State forced overtime on a Roshunda Johnson three-pointer with six seconds to play, and then the Bulldogs took charge in the extra session to claim a 73-63 victory over fellow top-seed Louisville in the Women’s Final Four. Junior guard Victoria Vivians led the Bulldog attack with 25 points. Asia Durr paced the Cardinals with 18 points in the losing effort.
Vic Schaefer’s squad advances to their second straight national title game on Sunday, where they will face the winner of Friday’s nightcap between Notre Dame and Connecticut.
