Oregon State and Arkansas to battle for CWS title

OMAHA, NE – After heavy rains washed away play on Monday night, Game One of the College World Series final between Oregon State and Arkansas will now take place on Tuesday night (6:45pm Eastern on Westwood One).

Oregon State came all the way back from the losers’ bracket and defeated Mississippi State for a second straight night to earn a place in the best-of-three final at the College World Series. Waiting for the Beavers are the Arkansas Razorbacks, who’ve yet to lose in Omaha this year.

Oregon State will be aiming for its third title in school history, following back-to-back championships in 2006 and 2007. Arkansas is looking to earn its first national title.
