Eddie George

Eddie George returns for his third season as color analyst for Westwood One’s NCAA Football broadcasts. Previously, George co-hosted both College and NFL football programs for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports Net. On the playing field, George thrived as both a college and professional player. As a senior at Ohio State in 1995, George rushed for a school record 1,927 yards and 24 touchdowns and won the 61st Heisman Trophy Award. He was selected by the Houston Oilers in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft and went on to become a 4-time Pro Bowl running back for the Oilers and Tennessee Titans, whom he played for from 1996 to 2003. George is only the second running back in NFL history to rush for 10,000 yards while never missing a start.  He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1996 and led the Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000.  He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.
