Steve Mason re-joins Westwood One for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, having previously worked for the network at the Olympic Games of 1998, 2000, 2002, 2006 and 2008. Mason also covered the 2004 Athens Games for NBC Sports. At Rio 2016, Mason will co-host the nightly show Tonight in Rio as well as report on various sports.
Mason has co-hosted the sports-talk show Mason and Ireland on KSPN Radio in Los Angeles since 2003. He has also hosted KSPN’s pregame programs for Los Angeles Lakers and USC play-by-play broadcasts. Mason’s television credits include appearances on Good Day LA, Fox News, the TV Guide Channel and more.
