QB Jarrett Lee threw for 3 touchdowns and Michael Ford rushed for 2 more for the Tigers, who also got an electrifying 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Morris Claiborne.
Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith was 38-65 for 463 yards in defeat.
