STATE COLLEGE, PA (11/12/11) – In a game that was about a lot more than just football, Nebraska defeated Penn State 17-14 on Saturday afternoon.
Playing without longtime head coach Joe Paterno, the Nittany Lions (8-2) started slowly, trailing 17-0 before rallying in the 2nd half. In the end, the Cornhuskers held on to move to 8-2 on the season.
John Sadak and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One Sports.
