ATLANTA (11/20/11) – Matt Ryan threw for 316 yards and a touchdown as the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon.
Michael Turner also ran for 100 yards and a touchdown as the Falcons improved to 6-4, but they had to hold on late as Titans’ rookie quarterback Jake Locker tried to rally his team after entering the game for the injured Matt Hasselbeck.
Locker got Tennessee (5-5) to within six points, but Atlanta’s offense was able to pick up two first downs on the next series and ran out the clock.
Howard David and Tony Boselli called the action on Westwood One Sports.
