The last time an unbeaten Packers team traveled to Detroit for a Thanksgiving game was 1962. That year, the Lions handed their rivals from Green Bay their first and only defeat of the season. The Packers would win the NFL championship that year – but they didn’t do it with an unbeaten record thanks to that 26-14 Lions victory at Tiger Stadium.
Detroit will be try to make history repeat itself on Thursday at Ford Field, and head coach Jim Schwartz talked about the game with Westwood One NFL studio host Scott Graham.
