DETROIT, MI (12/24/11) – For the first time since 1999, the Detroit Lions are heading to the postseason.
The Lions defeated the San Diego Chargers 38-10 on Christmas Eve to clinch one of the NFC Wild Card spots.
Matthew Stafford threw for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Lions (10-5) eliminated the Chargers (7-8) from postseason contention.
