ARLINGTON, TX – Arkansas jumped out to a 19-0 lead and never looked back, defeating Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl by a final score of 29-16.
Tyler Wilson threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns for the Razorbacks, who finished the season 11-2, with their only two losses coming to BCS National Championship Game competitors LSU and Alabama.
Collin Klein of the Wildcats passed for one touchdown and rushed for another — his 27th rushing TD of the year, which ties the all-time FBS record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season. Navy’s Ricky Dobbs also had 27 rushing TDs in 2009.
Brad Sham and Terry Donahue called the action.
