EAST LANSING, MI – Draymond Green was unstoppable and Michigan State was barely troubled by a Wisconsin team that shot 34% from the field as the Spartans downed the Badgers 69-55 at the Breslin Center on Thursday night.
Green scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out five assists as Michigan State (21-5, 10-3 Big Ten) moved back into a tie atop the conference with Ohio State.
Powered by a 14-0 run midway through the first half, Michigan State took a 31-19 lead at the break.
Wisconsin (19-7, 8-5) was led by Ryan Evans, who scored 17, but the Badgers were only able to get within single digits for a brief moment in the second half and never seriously threatened to get back in the game.
Kevin Kugler and Alaa Abdelnaby called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
