MISSOULA, MT – The Montana Grizzlies put up 54 points in the second half to beat Weber State 85-66 in the Big Sky Championship and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Mathias Ward and Kareem Jamar each scored 23 points for the Grizzlies (25-6, 15-1 Big Sky). Damian Lillard did his best to keep the Wildcats (24-6, 14-2) in the game, scoring 29 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists.
Ted Robinson and Steve Lappas called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
