NEW ORLEANS, LA – Four of Ohio State’s five best players are sophomores. To most, that makes them look like babies. To Kentucky, it makes them look like grizzled veterans.
As with most anything in life, it’s all about perspective. So while Kentucky and Louisville scoop up the headlines for their epic, in-state showdown, and Kansas stars Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor also draw their fair share of attention, the Buckeyes simply go about their business.
Their perspective on that? We’ll get the attention we deserve when we win, thank you.
Not that Jared Sullinger is a nobody, mind you. Already a two-time AP first-team selection in just his sophomore season, the Buckeye big man is flanked by classmates Lenzelle Smith, Jr. and Aaron Craft, as Ohio State looks to win their first NCAA men’s basketball title in 52 years.
