PORTLAND, OR – Jordan Hulls poured in a game-high 22 points, leading 4th-seeded Indiana to a 79-66 victory over 13th-seeded New Mexico State.
Hulls was one of four Hoosiers in double-figures, as Big Ten Freshman of the Year Cody Zeller added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 steals. Wendell McKines paced New Mexico State with 15 points.
Indiana’s victory sets up a highly-anticipated third-round showdown with 12th-seeded VCU on Saturday.
