ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Brady Heslip hit nine three-pointers as Baylor cruised into the Sweet Sixteen with an 80-63 win over Colorado.
Heslip was 9 of 12 from long range and fell two shy of tying the NCAA Tournament record of 11, set by Loyola Marymount’s Jeff Fryer in 1990.
Baylor advances to play the Xavier-Lehigh winner in a South Regional Semifinal next Friday.
Dave Sims and Michael Cage called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
