NEW ORLEANS, LA – It’s no secret that Anthony Davis will soon trade in his Kentucky jersey for one with “Wizards” or “Bobcats” across the front, in all likelihood.
But before he begins the chapter of his life as the likely #1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, the standout freshman is on a mission to end a championship drought for one of college basketball’s elite programs.
A victory for Davis and the Wildcats over Kansas on Monday night would bring a title to the Bluegrass State for the first time since 1998.
Before the biggest game of his life, the AP Player of the Year spoke with Kevin Kugler about Kentucky’s showdown with Kansas for all the marbles.
