LOS ANGELES –UCLA forced six Houston turnovers – including three interceptions by senior cornerback Sheldon Price – as the Bruins downed Houston 37-6 on Saturday night.
Heisman candidate Johnathan Franklin gained 110 yards on 25 carries to lead a UCLA rushing attack that picked up 247 yards on the ground.
For Houston, quarterback David Piland was 28-60 for 249 yards, but threw five interceptions. The only bright spot for the Cougars was a long Piland touchdown run after the game was well out of reach late in the 4th quarter.
