MIAMI — Nick Folk hit a game-winning field goal in overtime to give the New York Jets a hard-fought 23-20 overtime win over the Miami Dolphins, who had seen their own chance to win the game in overtime on a 48-yard field goal sail wide just minutes earlier.
Dan Carpenter’s 41-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter tied the game at 20 to set up overtime, but Carpenter couldn’t connect in the extra frame.
