DENVER — Matt Schaub threw four touchdown passes as the Houston Texans held on to win 31-25 in spite of a late Peyton Manning-led rally by the Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
Schaub, who was 17 for 30 for 290 yards on the day, hit Owen Daniels late in the third quarter to put Houston up 31-11. But two Manning touchdown passes got the Broncos to within six points late in the game. Houston held on for the win after stopping the Broncos desperation hook and lateral play on the final snap of the game.
Wayne Larrivee and Mark Malone called the action on Westwood One Sports.
