EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Miami lost its starting quarterback, but the Dolphins didn’t miss a beat as they defeated the New York Jets 30-9 on Sunday afternoon.
Ryan Tannehill was injured on a first-quarter sack and didn’t return, but Matt Moore picked up the slack, going 11 for 19 for 131 yards and a touchdown as the Dolphins improved to 4-3 on the season.
The Jets, who turned the ball over twice and allowed Miami to score off a blocked punt returned for a touchdown, dropped to 3-5.
Tom McCarthy and Tony Boselli called the action on Westwood One Sports.
