FOXBORO, MA – The New York Jets rallied to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but Tom Brady drove the Patriots down the field to force overtime, before New England won the game 29-26 in overtime.
Stephen Gostkowski’s 43-yard field goal tied the score as time expired, then he hit again from 48 yards in overtime to put the Patriots ahead.
New York had a chance to match that score, but the game ended when the Patriots recovered a Mark Sanchez fumble on the ensuing drive.
